What databases does Knowi connect to?
Knowi natively connects to 30+ data sources including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, DynamoDB, InfluxDB, Couchbase, REST APIs, GraphQL, and all major SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift). No ODBC drivers, ETL pipelines, or data warehouse required.
Can Knowi join data from different databases in one query?
Yes. Knowi queries each data source natively and joins the results at query time. For example, you can join MongoDB customer records with Elasticsearch log data and Salesforce API results in a single query without moving data to a warehouse.
What is Private AI in Knowi?
Private AI is Knowi's on-premises AI engine that processes all queries inside your infrastructure. No data is sent to external LLMs or cloud AI services. It supports natural language querying on unmodeled data and Document AI for querying PDFs and Word files.
Does Knowi require a data warehouse?
No. Knowi queries databases directly where the data lives. You can optionally use a warehouse if you have one, but it is not required. This eliminates ETL pipeline maintenance and gives you real-time access to source data.
